1. Common safety hazards
The common safety hazards of gas cylinders mainly include: overdue inspection of cylinders, material aging, resulting in reduced pressure resistance, leading to explosions; damaged valves, poor sealing, resulting in gas leakage; mixed storage of flammable and combustible gases, combustion and explosion triggered by open flames; handling, use of collision, impact, resulting in cylinder damage; non-compliance with regulations (such as rapid opening of the valve, random discharge of gases) Danger caused by illegal operation (e.g. opening valves quickly, discharging gases randomly), etc.
2. Emergency measures
If you find gas cylinder leakage, you need to immediately stop using it, close the cylinder valve (if the valve is damaged and can not be closed, you need to immediately evacuate the scene, notify the professionals to deal with it), open the window to ventilate the area, prohibit open flames and sparks (such as switching on and off the lights, using cell phones), evacuate the surrounding personnel, and take appropriate protective measures according to the nature of the gas: when leaking combustible gases, you need to cut off the fire source and call firefighters; when leaking toxic, corrosive gases, you need to wear protective gear. When leaking toxic and corrosive gases, wear protective gear, evacuate to the safe area to the windward direction, and call the emergency rescue number.
If the cylinder explosion, burning and other accidents, you need to immediately evacuate the scene, call 119 fire phone and 120 emergency telephone, blind rescue is strictly prohibited, waiting for professional rescue; if any person is injured, you need to ensure their own safety under the premise of the preliminary treatment of the injured (such as bleeding, cleaning corrosion parts), and promptly sent to the hospital.
